Getting There

Flights can be taken to Tawau from Kuala Lumpur or Kota Kinabalu, and from Tawau take a cab (mini-van) to Semporna. 

Get Around

They are no accommodations or travel routes around Sipadan Island; it's accessible via boats from Semporna or a couple other nearby island resorts.

Main Attractions

Scuba diving - Sipadan Island is rich with colorful coral reefs and sealife.

Accommodations

Visitors can stay at Semporna or resorts at nearby islands of Mabul and Kapalai.  Sipadan is not really a place for budget travellers, but middle range resorts are available.
