Maafushi Island Kuredhi Beach Inn Hotel and Surrounding
Continue from our previous journey, we arrived at Maafushi Island Terminal Jetty safely. Cost of speedboat is USD 20 per person. Luckily there not much wave along the journey. Still raining when we arrive and we have hotel representative waiting us at the jetty and help to bring all our luggage to the hotel. Our next hotel to stay is Kuredhi Beach Inn. Its only around 5 min walk from the jetty. Before that, we take few moment to enjoy the surrounding around the jetty.
The hotel is nice, the front desk even all staff is friendly and helpful enough. The room is neat and tidy. More review from others about Kuredhi Beach Inn might be helpful. Tradition here when guest arrive they will served you with fruit juice and cold wet towel.
After everything check in and rest a while and rain has stop, we take a evening walk to the island and see whats happening here.
During our walk, we never know they have prison here until we bumped with it. Even local people have their own football field. Imagine you play football with beautiful sea. They basically have two side of the island. One side is more on tourist and hotel, and other side is more on local people stay. Of course at tourist side have better beach and view of sea.
I think we spend around 2 hours walking and hopping from few souvenir shop until we came back at our hotel side and take a rest with coconut drink at local stall, before we going back to hotel and rest.
Our night is so calm and peacefully. Maybe too tired and only wake up in the morning. In the morning, for breakfast at Kuredhi Beach Inn, they provided buffet breakfast. But do not expected like Malaysia hotel buffet style. They are less food and variety but still good enough to fill the tummy. After that we are ready to explore our other day with activities in the boat and sea which we grab it from our hotel package. Theres a lot of package with different rate and activities at other hotel and booth too. Just pick one.
